The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions, the phpBB Group are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

Administrators and moderators are NOT baby-sitters. We are all adults. Free-flowing, spirited discussion is encouraged here. Sometimes, things will go off-topic. Posters are expected to take the initiative to get threads back on-topic. Unless it is under some very unusual circumstances (or an admin is posting in a thread that interests him), administrators will not step in and get a thread back on-topic.

Excessive flaming will not be tolerated. Even though many of us are using aliases instead of real names, please do not engage in personal attacks. Members are expected to “self-police”. Arguments and joking around will occur here; however do not cross into making personal attacks. Personal attacks are defined as making derogatory comments about a person's ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, and personal character. If a member crosses into personal attack territory, expect to receive the same treatment in kind. Do not engage in personal attacks and expect the moderators/administrators to step in and bail you out. We will not do it. Again, be respectful of your fellow forum members and treat people the way you expect to be treated.

Any comments/opinions/observations made by individual posters are the views of that individual poster. These do not reflect the official views/positions of Diecastflightdeck.com, Diecastflightdeck.net, or the owners and administrators of these websites.

Concerning any suggestions/compliments/complaints/general concerns, etc.- please use the website’s “Chain of Command”. Please try to resolve any issues at the lowest level first. Go to the moderators first before you bring an issue to the administrators.

Do NOT do anything illegal on here. This includes, but is not limited to, the following- posting child pornography; posting classified military/civilian proprietary info; trying to conduct drug deals via PM; making threats against another member/members; and posting another person’s private information (phone number, address, picture, etc). Not only will the offending posts be yanked, and the offending member be banned; the administrators of this site will contact and fully cooperate with the appropriate law enforcement agencies regarding the prosecution of the individual(s) responsible. Administrators reserve the right to take steps deemed necessary to protect the security of this site.

Concerning transactions between members of this website- Diecastflightdeck.com, Diecastflightdeck.net, and its administrative personnel will not be held responsible for any transactions conducted between individual members. Buyers and sellers do business on an “at-risk” basis; it will be up to the individuals themselves to ensure that the transaction is successful. Members conducting a transaction will resolve any disputes concerning that transaction amongst themselves.

Sellers/Buyers- do not compromise the integrity of this site while conducting business transactions. As part of the self-policing of this site; members will feel free to post their observations concerning transactions. Any individual who establishes a pattern engaging in questionable business practices (as a buyer or as a seller) will be banned from the site. Any negative comments posted about the offending member will remain on this site for public viewing, as a public service to our fellow forum members. Again, respect fellow forum members and this site.

Please keep all business transactions, whether private or commercial, in the Classifieds section. If a posting is in the wrong place, it will be moved. If it can’t be moved, it will be deleted.

Posting photos/drawings- Please credit the owner of that image. If you don’t, and the owner requests it to be removed, it will be.
Also, please follow these guidelines for posting photos- make sure picture is in JPEG format, and is re-sized to 500 pixels X 500 pixels or less.

Any disputes between a member and forum leadership will be handled via PM. Do NOT go public with a dispute. Doing so will ensure that the dispute does not get resolved.

No spamming. Posts will be removed and member will be banned.

English is the language of the Diecast Flightdeck. Please post in English. We understand that English may be a second language for some forum members, and we will bear that in mind and work with you. Anything posted in a different language, or posted in English that is incomprehensible, will be deleted.

Do not post insulting/tasteless/extremely gross pics. While the definition of taste is widely debated, keep common sense in mind. Even though we have a wide latitude on this site, any pics which are questionable to the admins/moderators will be deleted.

Registration info- Due to security concerns, Diecastflightdeck.com will no longer activate accounts for users who provide an e-mail address from a free e-mail provider (such as gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail, etc.) New users are required to provide a normal e-mail account that is supplied by their Internet Service Provider (Comcast.net, Cox.net, etc). Accounts that are created using a free e-mail account will be deleted.
