Wow, model building is getting expensive And, add in all the blood, sweat and tears...and overuse of "Oh shit!"

And if you want added realism, you can't forget the resin cockpits, gun bas, wheel wells, exhausts, etc.

I know. I used to do all that before I went nuts.

Most times that stuff is more expensive then the model!

Does Hasegawa's 1/72 scale F-4B have raised or recessed panel lines? Their F-4J has recessed lines.

I'm not sure... but the Italeri F4S has raised panel lines. What is your usual pick, raised or recessed? I won two Airfix kits last year (a Lynx and a Tomcat) and they both have raised panel lines. The Lynx is alright because helicopters don't get weathered to such an extent, but I might have a tough time with the F14A. (not like I am going to rescribe all them lines! )
